The Wizard of Oz
Once upon a time, in the heart of the American Midwest, there lived a little girl named Dorothy. Dorothy lived on a farm in Kansas with her dog, Toto. One day, a fierce tornado swept through the area, picking up Dorothy's house and carrying it far, far away.
When Dorothy woke up, she found herself in a strange and magical land called Oz. The land of Oz was full of amazing creatures and colourful scenery. Dorothy was determined to find a way back home to Kansas.
As Dorothy wandered through the land of Oz, she made some unexpected friends. The first was Scarecrow who longed for a brain. The second was Tin Man who wished for a heart. The third was Cowardly Lion who desired courage. Together, they decided to travel to the Emerald City to meet the great and powerful Wizard of Oz. They hoped Oz could grant their wishes.
On the way to the Emerald City, they slowly walked through the thick and confusing fields and dark woods. They carefully climbed over the high and dangerous mountains and steep ridges. They often heard very strange and scary cries of animals. And they bravely crossed two wide and fast-flowing big rivers. After many adventures and challenges, Dorothy and her friends finally reached the Emerald City. They were amazed by its beauty and grandeur. They entered the wizard's palace and were greeted by a grand figure who claimed to be the Wizard of Oz.
But as it turned out, the wizard was not as powerful as he pretended to be. In fact, he was just a regular man who used illusions and tricks to
deceive others. Dorothy was disappointed, but she realized that she had to rely on herself and her friends to find a way back home.
And so, Dorothy and her new friends continued their journey, decided to overcome any obstacle that came their way and to find their way back to Kansas.
