It was a bright Sunday evening. Ella's parents were having a party. Her mother was a famous scientist, and she introduced Ella to another scientist she worked with.
"It's nice to meet you, Ella," the woman said happily. "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I'm going to be a scientist too," Ella said.
"Really?" the woman said with great interest. "What kind of scientist?"
"Paleontologist(古生物学家), and microbiologist(微生物学家)," Ella said.
The woman looked surprised. "That's very special," she
said. "Then what kind of work are you going to do?"
"I'm going to collect DNA from dinosaur bones(恐龙骨骼)," Ella said. "Then I'm going to make a change to the DNA and bring back the dinosaurs."
"Bring back the dinosaurs?" the woman cried. "Wouldn't that be really dangerous?"
"My dinosaurs will not be dangerous," Ella explained, "because I am going to use the DNA from animals like a dog, my dinosaurs can be friendly. I am also going to make my dinosaurs really, really small. They won't be any bigger than a little dog," Ella said proudly. "Then people can keep them as pets."
The woman smiled at Ella and said, "You are a smart girl!"
Ella smiled too. "It's a clever plan, right?" she said. "I'm surely going to be famous and successful."
