第二部分 阅读理解
Career talks are great chances for students to learn about different jobs. Last week, our school held a career talk day. Five people from different jobs came to share their stories with us.
Mr. Black is a computer programmer. He told us he spends most of his time writing codes and making new apps. He said his job needs much patience, but it’s great to see his work help people. Ms. Green, a middle school teacher, talked about her daily work. She prepares lessons, teaches students and checks homework. She also said the best part of her job is seeing students grow and make progress.
A doctor named Dr. White told us about his busy but meaningful life. He often works long hours, but he feels proud when he helps sick people get well. We also listened to a fashion designer and a reporter. The designer told us how she turns her ideas into beautiful clothes, and the reporter shared interesting stories from her trips for news.
After the talks, we asked many questions. Some students wanted to know how to get ready for their dream jobs. All the speakers said the same thing: study hard at school, keep your interest and never give up your dreams. This career talk day made us think more about our future. It was a really useful and interesting day for everyone.
