Three brothers from San Francisco found a copy (本) of the first-ever issue (首次发行) of Superman. *They found it in their mother's attic after she passed away (去世).
This comic book was printed (出版) in 1939. It was only 10 cents then! Their mother bought it. She lived a poor life when she was young. But she still loved reading comic books a lot.
The comic book was put in a paper box. And it was protected (保护) by old newspapers. It was more than 80 years old. But it still looked very good.
In November 2025, it sold for 9.12 million at an auction! Now it has been the most expensive comic book in history.
