Tom’s Rock Collection
People collect different things like stamps or coins. I collect rocks and minerals. I started to be interested in rocks when I was a little child. My dad took me to the mountains and I brought home the rocks I found. I still look for rocks but I also spend my money on new minerals. I feel there is something magical about them. I like touching them and looking at them.

Jessica’s Doll Collection
I started collecting porcelain dolls when I was seven. My grandma gave me my first porcelain doll. I loved the beautiful face and the clothes. I got another doll from my mum and this was how it started. Now, all my family know I collect dolls, so I get a lot of them as presents. I sometimes buy some on the internet. I’ve got over fifty dolls now!

Matthew’s Stamp Collection
My collection is unusual because I didn’t really start it. My uncle moved to a different country and gave away many things. He gave me an album with stamps from his travels over the years. It’s big and very interesting. I haven’t bought any new stamps. What I do is learn about the stamps in the collection. They are not just stamps—they are
