My Bad But Good Day

Last Saturday was a bad but good day for me. I woke up late in the morning and missed the math tutorial I wanted to attend. When I rushed out, it suddenly rained heavily and I got completely wet. I felt really upset. However, in the afternoon, my best friend Lily came to visit me. She brought my favorite chocolate cookies and we watched an interesting animated movie together. Later, my mom cooked a delicious big dinner for us. I felt warm and happy. Even though the morning was terrible, the wonderful afternoon made the day special. I know that sometimes bad things can lead to nice surprises, and we should always look on the bright side.
