In some cities, like Shanghai, London, Paris and New York, lots of people like to take the metro. It’s fast to take the metro. It’s cheap(便宜的)and convenient too. You can buy your ticket on your phone in China. How can you find a metro station?
You can see different logos(标志) in different cities. For example, the logo of the London metro is a red circle(圆圈) and a bar(横条). It says “UNDERGROUND” on the bar. You can see a big letter “M” on the logo in Paris. In Shanghai, there are two letters. When you see these logos, you can find a metro station nearby.
During the time when people go to or come back from work, the metro is always busy from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Maybe there are no seats for you. So it’s not a good idea to travel during rush hours.
