People often ask, “We can ride horses, but why not zebras?”
Humans were not good friends with horses at first.
Humans tried to tame zebras too, but it was very hard. Zebras live in Africa with many large predators (捕食者). So they are very alert (警惕的). And also, they're fierce. *To run away from lions, zebras can kick very hard—even break a lion's jaw (下巴). They are also afraid of people and try to stay away from them.
