In the past, my neighbourhood was in a mess. There was rubbish and litter everywhere on the ground, the dustbins were overflowing with full garbage bags placed messily beside them, and some bikes were even tipped over on the ground. Some little boys threw banana peels carelessly as they walked, and a little girl was picking the flowers in the flower bed, no signs to tell people to care for the environment at that time.
People did a lot of things to make the neighbourhood clean. They cleaned up all the rubbish on the ground, tidied up the messy public area, replaced the old dustbins with new classified recycling bins, put up clear signs of "No Littering" and "No Picking Flowers" to remind everyone to behave properly, and also set up a special area to park bikes neatly.
Look at the second picture. Now my neighbourhood is clean and tidy. All kinds of wastes are put into the corresponding classified trash cans correctly, bikes are parked in order in the designated parking area, the flowers in the flower bed grow well with the warm reminder sign, and people walk comfortably on the clean path after shopping, everyone lives a pleasant life here.
