I’m Ben. I am a primary school student. I get up at seven. I have breakfast at half past seven. Then I go to school. The class starts at eight. I go home at four in the afternoon.
My mum is a doctor. Her clock is different. Sometimes she works at night. When I get up at seven, she is still at the hospital. She goes home at half past seven in the morning. Then she goes to bed at nine. While I’m having a maths class, she is asleep. While I’m playing football, she is cooking dinner. We can eat together before she leaves at six.
We meet twice a day. Those short moments are like a big hug.
