2026年快捷英语时文阅读理解七年级第105页答案
环境保护
Monday/Week 14

In China, this year marks the

20th year of the idea of "clear
waters and green mountains are
very valuable wealth (财富)". This scientific idea has
worked very well, and green factories have been a key
way to make it happen. By 2024, the energy China
used per unit of GDP had gone down by 11.6 percent,
compared to 2020.

On August 5, representatives

(代表) from 184 countries took
part in a meeting in Geneva. They
wanted to create a rule to cut down plastic pollution.
Outside the meeting, artist Benjamin put up The
Thinker's Burden. It was a copy (复制) of Auguste
Rodin's sculpture The Thinker, and this copy was
covered in plastic rubbish.

Brazil asked all countries to

hand in their plans to fight against
climate change before September
25. *These plans will then be discussed at the
international climate meeting that will be held in Belém
in November. So far, fewer than 30 countries have
shared their plans.

For the first time in more than

100 years, salmon can swim up
rivers from the Pacific Ocean to
Canada's Okanagan Lake—a journey of more than
600 miles. A new fishway helps salmon travel past
nine dams (坝) on their way. The Syilx people built it.
They said the return of the salmon is "a powerful act of
healing (治愈)".
