②In South Africa today, over half of the people are poor. In some places, life is really difficult. Not having enough places to look after children means many children are left alone without protection. As a result, many young children miss early education, they can't grow up well and become the best of them.
③In Cape Town and some nearby areas in South Africa, finding cheap childcare is super hard for poor parents. This is the biggest problem for them. Although many centres have been set up to help these families, they only have few workers and resources（资源）. This is why we need volunteers to help improve the care to the children.
④As a childcare volunteer, you will work in care centres in Cape Town to look after the kids. Most parents of these kids work in the city, so they can drop off their kids at our centres in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. Your jobs will be cleaning, preparing meals, and teaching kids maths and reading. You will work from Monday to Friday and have a break on weekends. New to volunteering? Don't be nervous! If you've never done this before, our programme will pair you with an experienced volunteer for every step.
