In 2025, Chongqing Nankai Secondary School put on a great stage play（舞台剧）Eastward Flows the River, Westward I come（《大江东去我西来》）. People enjoyed the show and thought highly of it.

As days went by, Cao Yu grew from a young drama lover into a great dramatist. Later, Cao Yu wrote great works like Thunderstorm and Sunrise. Nankai gave him not only knowledge but also a deep love for drama.
