C
①The skin is a very important part of our body. There are three layers(层) of the skin and they play key roles in keeping us healthy. If our skin gets burned(烧伤), it can be very serious. So, it is necessary for all of us to know about burns, what we should do and shouldn't do.
②Do you think that only hot water can burn you? In fact, we can get burned by a lot of things in our daily life, such as a big fire in the fireplace, the bright and burning sun on a summer day, steam(水蒸气) from hot showers and some chemicals. So, be careful and keep away from them.
③We must also know that there are three kinds of burns. The first-degree burns affect(影响) only the first layer of the skin. They're not too bad and you'll feel better in one or two days. The second-degree burns affect both the first and the second layer. The third-degree burns affect all three layers of the skin and they always bring serious problems.
④Once you know about burns, it's time for you to keep in mind how to treat burns in right ways. First of all, take off clothes carefully. Then, cool burns quickly under running water until you feel better. Next, dry the burned place gently and cover it with a dry and clean bandage(绷带). You can take medicine if necessary.
⑤Besides(除……之外) the things you should do, it's even more important to know something you mustn't do. For one thing, you can't use oil, eggs or ice on the burns. For another, don't pop blisters(水泡) with sharp things like knives or needles.

答案

根据第二段“Do you think that only hot water can burn you?”和“we can get burned by a lot of things in our daily life, such as a big fire in the fireplace, the bright and burning sun on a summer day, steam from hot showers and some chemicals”可知,热水、大火、夏季明亮且灼人的太阳和热水淋浴产生的蒸汽都可能导致烧伤,而文中未提及冬天的太阳会烧伤人,且通常冬天太阳并不强烈,不容易造成烧伤。故选C。
根据第四段“First of all, take off clothes carefully. Then, cool burns quickly under running water until you feel better. Next, dry the burned place gently and cover it with a dry and clean bandage.”
根据最后一段“you can't use oil, eggs or ice on the burns. For another, don't pop blisters with sharp things like knives or needles.” 故选A。
