豆芽观察记
Dave's mum is making bean soup. She gives Dave three beans. “Let’s watch them grow,” says Dave. “Beans need sun and water to grow,” says Dave's mum. She gives him a jar. Firstly, Dave puts a napkin in the jar.

Next, he puts some water on the napkin. Then, he puts the beans on the napkin. Lastly, he puts the lid on the jar. Dave puts the jar near a window. The sun warms the beans. In two days, Dave sees small white shoots. “The beans have small white shoots!” he says. “The shoots will be the beans' roots,” says Mum. The shoots grow and grow, and they are long and green.
