Have you ever wondered where your pets can have fun? Well, wonder no more! Now we have many pet-friendly parks in Shenzhen. Shenzhen has 11 special parks just for pets, Shenzhen Evening News reported. The city’s first pet park, Jingtian North No. 6 Street Pet Park, opened to the public on Jan. 27, 2019.
These parks are full of fun and smart designs. For example, Sihai Park Pet Park has set up a bridge, a seesaw（跷跷板）and water fountains for pets. In the pet activity area, you can also see information boards with useful pet-raising knowledge. Besides, Chuntianhai Community Park not only provides space for pets to play and exercise but also takes care of their basic needs by including pet restrooms. Yunxi Pet Park is Shenzhen’s largest pet-friendly park. Its huge 1,200-square-meter pet playground has special equipment, such as running paths, climbing frames（架）, sand pools, and pet drinking water. It allows pets of different sizes to play and exercise together freely. Besides the parks, you can also find more pet services at pet clubs in places like Xili and Guangcui.
According to the city’s park management center, the city plans to build more spaces for dogs to play and meet other dogs in the future. This helps both pets and owners to exercise and make friends.
