Safety Tips for Winter Outdoor Fun
Winter is full of fun! We can make snowmen, play in the snow and skate on ice. But we must follow some safety rules while playing outdoors.
It is cold in winter. We should put on warm coats, scarves, hats and gloves. Never stay outside for long hours, or you will feel cold and even get sick easily.
Roads and ground get slippery (湿滑的) on snowy or icy days. Don’t run fast or chase (追逐) your friends. Walk slowly, or you may fall down and hurt yourself.
When we play snow games, be kind to each other. Do not throw hard snowballs at your friends. Hard snowballs may hurt their eyes or bodies.
Never step or play on the thin ice of lakes and rivers. Thin ice may break easily, and that is very dangerous.
After playing outside, go back into a warm room, drink some hot water and have a good rest.
