Fire is useful. It helps us cook food. It gives us heat and light too. Fire is also dangerous. It can burn down trees and hurt people. Here are some safety rules to follow:

At home: We usually use matches(火柴)and lighters to make a fire, but we mustn’t play with them.
In the forests: Do not smoke in the forest. It can easily cause a fire.
·When there is a fire:
①Quickly go outside, using the stairs, not the lift.
②Cover your mouth and nose if it’s smoky(烟雾弥漫的).
③Call 119 for help when you go outside.
