Marie Curie and Rosalind Franklin were two great female（女的） scientists who made important contributions to the world.
Marie Curie was born in Poland in 1867. She loved science from an early age and worked hard to study physics and chemistry. She discovered（发现）two new elements, polonium and radium, and won two Nobel Prizes—one in physics and the other in chemistry. She devoted her whole life to scientific research, even if it harmed her health.
Rosalind Franklin was born in London in 1920. She was a talented scientist who studied DNA. She took important photos of DNA structure, which helped other scientists understand the shape of DNA. Although she didn't get much recognition during her life, her work was very important for the development of biology.
Both of them were brave and persistent, and they set good examples for women in science.
