Dear Fred,
How's everything going? I can't wait to share a pleasant short trip to a small lake town that I took with my parents last Sunday.
On the bus, we saw golden rice fields and farmers busy harvesting the crops. In the town, we walked along stone streets, listened to the locals selling handmade cakes, and watched ducks swimming among wooden boats. I also tried the famous fish soup. It tasted better than any fast food.
The quiet water and fresh air washed away my school stress. I realised that a simple place spent with family can be the best refreshment. I'll definitely plan more weekend trips like this in the future.
