On 26th August, it's Canadian National Dog Day. On that day, all the Canadian dogs can enjoy the day. Canadian people see it as an important day because they treat dogs as their great helpers. Dogs can pull a sled(雪橇), carry things and do many other important things.
In a town of Belgium(比利时), the second Sunday of May is the Kattenstoet, a cat festival. People play fun games and they believe it will bring them good luck in the coming year.
As a monkey lover, do you want to enjoy a festival about the monkey? In Indonesia, 7th May is the Monkey Day. People give many sweets and nuts to monkeys. They also play music for monkeys. It's a day full of happiness for them.
I believe all of you know a festival about elephants! Yes! Thai Elephant Day! It is celebrated on 13th March each year in Thailand. On this day, people show their love and respect for these gentle animals.
4th October is the World Animal Day. We share the same world with animals and they play an important part in our daily lives. However, many animals in the world are in danger. So we should be friendly to them and get along very well with them. Let's care for these lovely living things on their special days and always.
