These amazing birds mostly live in very cold places, but they have special ways to stay warm. Their feathers help them keep warm. When it gets very cold, they get together for warmth.
They are slow when they walk on land. They can't fly, but they are good swimmers. Their wings help them "fly" underwater.
The female(雌性的) emperor penguin lays one egg at a time. The male(雄性的) emperor penguin looks after it. The female emperor penguin is away for around two months to find food. During this time, the male emperor penguin fasts for a few weeks, because it has nothing to eat. When the female emperor penguin comes back, the male emperor penguin goes out to get food.
