When you're a taxi driver, you never know who you'll end up picking up—it might even be a long-lost friend from over 20 years ago! 51-year-old Texas man Danny Blanton's most funny moment was taken by the dashboard(仪表盘) camera when he found his passenger was not a stranger. This man was a dear friend from his past! This video has been going viral on social media and got a lot of likes.
In the video, Danny picked up 60-year-old John, who was on his way to University of Texas. At first, the two men had no idea they knew each other. However, as they spoke about the weather, John found he knew the driver from somewhere.
“What's your name again?” he asked. After Danny repeated his name, John believed that they'd met before. When the driver turned around, the two quickly recognised each other. Their meeting was really wonderful!
The two friends used to work together. In the 2000s, Danny worked in a big food company where John was the head of security(安保). Looking back on their past friendship, both of them had nothing but wonderful things to say about each other!
“He was just nice, easy-going, and just probably one of the best people that I've ever met,” Danny said of John. Meanwhile, John said, “Danny was always cool with me. We always enjoyed our company and got along.”
Now that they'd met again, they weren't about to let their chance meeting go to waste. They decided to go for a coffee and spent hours chatting and laughing, sharing stories about their families, jobs and adventures. Isn't it unbelievable that a taxi ride brought these two friends back together?
