It's easy to just get fast food when you're hungry, but it can also be unhealthy and expensive. So I decided to test myself and not to have fast food for five days. I made my own food at home by using a healthy cooking way.
Day 1: Hardest Day
For breakfast at school, I ate corn, and for lunch I got myself a salad. I looked out of the window on my bus ride home and McDonald's was calling to me. Then I remembered my plan. I cooked fish for dinner.
Day 2: Trying New Things
I tried some cabbage noodles. Cabbage isn't my all-time favorite, but I was surprised by how good the noodles tasted.
Day 3: The New Breakfast
Two more days until my healthy diet was over and I felt really good about myself. For breakfast, I had a banana sandwich. Don't let the term "sandwich" fool you. The banana actually works as the "bread".
Day 4: At-Home Pancakes(煎饼)
I found an easy way to cook pancakes. I needed carrots, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and some other vegetables. What great food!
Day 5: Going All Out
I made it! I even baked honey mushroom(蘑菇) chicken for my family! I will eat healthily more often.
