Alex is a young boy. He likes music very much. He wants to play the piano and join the school music club. But all these things are difficult for him. Why? Because he has no hands.
Many people think it is impossible to play the piano without hands, and Alex once thought the same. He doubted he could ever play, but as a child, he had a big dream: to become a great pianist.
However, Alex's parents never stopped encouraging him. They always tell him, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” They found an excellent music teacher for him and take him to piano lessons every Tuesday and Thursday.
At first, playing the piano was incredibly difficult for Alex. But after about two years of practice, he can now play skilfully using his arms. He's no longer shy and often performs in class. He even participates in his school's piano competitions.
“My music teacher and classmates always help me with my piano lessons. I've made many friends and even joined the school music club. I am deeply grateful to them, and especially to my parents. They taught me an important lesson—nothing is impossible.”

原文第一段明确提到“But all these things are difficult for him. Why? Because he has no hands.”,因此,选项 D 正确。
C (Because he has no arms.),而原文明确提到“play skilfully using his arms”,说明 Alex 是有手臂的。
原文第二段明确提到“he had a big dream: to become a great pianist”,因此,选项 C 正确。
“活到老,学到老”强调终身学习,与“Where there is a will, there is a way.”
“Where there is a will, there is a way.(有志者,事竟成。)”
Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
No pain, no gain.
Never give up, and you will win.
原文第三段提到“take him to piano lessons every Tuesday and Thursday”即每周二和周四上课,因此选项 B 正确。 原文第四段提到“He's no longer shy and often performs in class.”,说明 Alex 现在不再害羞,经常在课堂上表演。
