I'm Alan. I don't like my neighbour, Mrs Wang. She always plays the piano loudly when I do my homework. I feel annoyed and I am not friendly to her.
One cool autumn evening, I forget to take my keys. My parents are still at work. I have to do my homework under the street lights. I feel cold, hungry and upset. I want to buy a bowl of noodles, but the wind blows my money away. I feel very sad.
Mrs Wang comes out. She asks, "Why are you standing alone outside?" "I forget to take my keys," I answer. "Oh, I see. Why don't you come to my home? I make some dumplings. Let's have some." I feel embarrassed. She smiles, "We are neighbours. We should help each other."
I have a warm dinner there. My neighbour helps me when I am in trouble. I will never forget it.
