One sunny day, a little gecko is on the wall. A snake comes to catch it. The gecko leaves its tail and runs away.
The gecko feels bad. So,it goes to find a new tail. First,it sees a goldfish in the pond. The gecko asks,“Goldfish,can I have your tail?” The goldfish says,“No. I need it to swim.”
Next,the gecko sees a cow. It asks,“Cow,can I have your tail?” The cow says,“Sorry,I need my tail to drive away flies.”
The gecko is sad. But then,it finds that it has a new tail. It is so glad. Now it knows its tail can grow back. It plays on the wall again.
