体裁:说明文 题材:日常活动 词数:230 难度:★★★ 建议用时:8 分钟
Please help protect works of art on show in the museum by following the rules listed below. We hope you can keep the art safe so that it may be enjoyed by more people!

Do not touch works of art. Your touch, even the slightest touch, can damage (损坏) the surface of a painting.
Use only pencils. If an accident happens,a pencil mark is easier to be removed than a pen mark. We are happy to provide a pencil if you would like to write or draw during your museum visit.
No leaning on walls or cases. That helps keep works of art hung on the walls or displayed in cases safe. Feel free to sit on the benches or the floor as you talk, write or draw.
No food or drink. Both of them aren’t allowed in the museum. The art in the museum will provide plenty of food for your thoughts as well as your eyes!
Photography is allowed only after you fill out a photo release form at the Visitor Services Desk. Only works of art owned by Dartmouth College can be photographed. No flash photography is allowed because the light damages the art.
Thank you for following these rules to help keep the art safe!
