Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Li Hua. It's my honour to give a speech about how to deal with typhoons. As we know, typhoons are natural disasters that often result in heavy losses to people's lives and property.¹ It is vital for us to learn how to protect ourselves from the damage.
Firstly, preparedness is very important. We should pay close attention to the warning about it and take measures in advance.² Besides, people living in low-lying areas should leave there to protect themselves from floods.
