Elliot, a little elephant, feels sad. He falls behind the herd(象群) when he is looking for some food. Now he can't find his family. He walks and walks in the forest. Then he meets some tortoises(龟) slowly making their way.
“Hello, I'm Tuti. Who are you?” says one of the tortoises. “I'm Elliot. I can't find my family.” “I can help. Let's go,” says Tuti.
As they walk, they meet some zebras. “Is that your family?” “No! Those are zebras. I'm an elephant. We're different.”
The zebras see Elliot and Tuti too. The zebras get scared and run away.
Tuti becomes Elliot's new friend. They eat and play together. Then they walk and walk again. They see some lions.
“Is that your family?” “No! Those are lions. I'm not a lion. I am an elephant.”
The lions are looking at Elliot and Tuti too. This time, Elliot and Tuti get terrified and run away.
It's nighttime. Elliot and Tuti sleep side by side. The next day, they walk and walk again. They see a herd of elephants.
“Is that your family?” “YES! Those are elephants. I'm an elephant too. Thank you, Tuti. You're my best friend.”
Now Elliot has both a family and a friend! They live happily in the forest, always ready to help each other and have fun together.
