三、阅读理解。
I like music because I think there is nothing more relaxing than listening to or playing music.
One day,I went to my parents' house to visit them. While my mother was cooking some food in the kitchen,my father and I were waiting. Later I went into my father's room with him and he took out his guitar and started playing a slow song. Then I took out a violin and started playing along with him. Slowly,I became lost in the music.
My father and I played like that for about 15 minutes. And when I turned around,my mother was standing there listening. I didn't even realize she was there while I was playing. That was one of the few times that I was “truly” lost in the music. The funniest thing when I played with my father was that I wasn't good at the violin. I was new at the instrument (乐器),but it was a slow song and my ability (能力) didn't matter. That is what music is all about.
Now many people focus on being good at their instrument too much,or making lots of money with it,but not on the music. Although my job is playing the piano,I never really want to use it to only make money. I play because it brings me great happiness, and I love everything about it.
