Wang Huiming, a 68-year-old cleaner in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, found and returned valuable deposit certificates (存款单) worth 2.46 million yuan. Many people online praised his honesty, and a local newspaper shared his story.
At around 7 am on October 31, Wang found two bank deposit certificates lying on the road when he was cleaning the street as usual. *Although he was not fully aware of the exact amount, he quickly handed them over to his supervisor (主管人).

Wang started working as a cleaner in 2019, except for one year when his wife was seriously ill and he had to take a break from work and took care of her for more than a year.
