We made today the Sichuan Food Day.
In the morning, we had Dandan noodles for breakfast. They have a history of more than 100 years. Our family liked the dish very much because of its rich taste.
At noon, we had twice-cooked pork, Mapo tofu, Gongbao chicken and rice for lunch. Twice-cooked pork is the superstar(超级明星) of Sichuan dishes. Mapo tofu and Gongbao chicken are famous both in China and around the world.
In the evening, we had hot pot for dinner. Hot pot is a traditional Sichuan dish. It’s famous everywhere in China. It’s spicy(辣的), but it’s really delicious. Many people sit around a big pot to enjoy it. We put meat, vegetables, and noodles into the soup. We ate and talked happily.
