One day, a teacher and his students go to visit a farm. They want to have a class there. On the farm, they first see many animals. They all have a good time.
They then come to the farmhouse. Behind it are some beautiful roses. They come in many colours—red, white, yellow and pink. The teacher gets some soil from under a rose plant. “Smell it,” the teacher says.
A student does it and says, “Ms Wang, it smells like roses!”
The teacher asks, “Do you know why the soil smells like roses?”
The student says, “I don’t know. Why?”
The teacher says, “Peter, that is because of the fallen roses on it. So you should make friends with good people in your life. That way, you can also be like the people you are with.”
