On November 16, 2025, hundreds of sheep walked through Nuremberg, Germany. They were going to their winter home.
Every year, the sheep travel over six miles (英里). They walk through the city—this is an old tradition (传统)! In summer, the 600 sheep eat grass in nearby grasslands (牧场). This keeps the grass short. In autumn, shepherds lead (引领) them through the city's market square. They go to new grasslands west of Nuremberg.
Before the sheep came, city authorities made rules. People needed to keep the route (路线) clear that day. They also kept dogs away from the sheep. And people couldn't fly drones (无人机) near the sheep either.
