First aid is important and necessary. It helps a person who gets ill or hurts suddenly. First aid knowledge sometimes means life or death.
Nosebleeds
Have the person sit up and put the head down a little. Tell the person to press the sides of his or her nose for 10—15 minutes until the bleeding stops.
Animal bites(咬)
Wash the bite area with soap and water. Take the person to a hospital. Tell the doctor what kind of animal bit the person as the doctor might need to use special medicine.
Broken bones
Do not move the hurt body part. Place an ice bag on the hurt area, and wait for a doctor to arrive.
Being choked(噎)
Stand behind the person and put arms around him or her. Put one fist(拳头) on the person's stomach and place the other hand on the fist. Press his or her stomach with both hands continually until the thing comes out from the throat and the person can breathe again.
