It's time for Chinese class. Miss Li brings some pictures to her students. She says, "Good morning, everyone. Look at these pictures. What can you see?"
Tony is the first to stand up. He says, "The woman in the pictures is doing a lot of work. First, she is hoeing weeds. After doing some farm work, she makes food for her son. These pictures show us that a mother's love is great! She does so much for her family."
Miss Li says, "Well done! Please say thank you to your mother when you see her. Any other ideas?"
"From the first nine pictures, we can see the woman's hard work. I know it's not easy to get food," Daming says. "But in the last picture, the boy is playing with the food. That's not right. We can't waste food." Miss Li says, "Very good! This morning we will learn a poem called Sympathy for Peasants."
