We can make many with tofu, such as mapo tofu and stinky tofu(臭豆腐). Tofu is a food. It is rich in soy protein(大豆蛋白), vitamins and minerals(矿物质). All of are good for our health.
A story said that a Chinese cook made the tofu over 2,000 years ago. He put nigari(盐卤) in a pot of soybean milk. Then the milk got hard and tofu.
People in Western countries enjoy eating tofu. They sometimes call it “the cheese of Asia”, because it looks a block of cheese.
