Last week, our school made a new rule about using AI tools for homework. Many students used AI tools like Doubao to help with their homework. Some students thought it was a great helper. “It can check my English sentences,” Li Hua said. “To me, Doubao is like another teacher. When I don’t understand anything, it helps me.”
But some other students and teachers were worried. “If you let AI tools write your whole essay, you didn’t do the homework yourself. You were just copying,” Mr Wang, our science teacher, said. “That was not honest.”
