A group of animal lovers in Brazil used 3D printing to help a tortoise(龟). A forest fire burned part of the tortoise’s shell. The group named the tortoise Freddy and gave it another chance at life. First, they took photos of Freddy. They also took photos of a healthy tortoise with a full shell. Then they used a computer program to design a new plastic shell for Freddy. The new shell fit Freddy’s body well.

The students in Hong Kong created the world’s smallest humanoid robot(人形机器人). The students made 3D-printed parts in their school’s robotics lab(实验室) for the robot. It could walk on two legs and move its shoulders, elbows(肘部), knees and hips(臀部).

Who could build the main structure of a house in just five days? It was the first fully(完全) 3D-printed house in Kazakhstan. People could live in it. This house only had one floor with windows and doors. It was cheaper.
