Ma Fude was born in 1924 in a village in Hebei. Ma's life story helps people remember the hard work and sacrifices牺牲 of fighters. He fought in China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation.

In 1944, Ma led a special team. They fought to take down the Japanese stronghold in Liangdu. Ma in this battle战斗. He got a Japanese gun枪 and a pair of binoculars望远镜 as war prizes. Ma kept these things for many years. He fought in many important battles. He got hurt in a battle. Later, he left the army and got a regular job.
This year is the 80th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. To remember this important time, Ma gave his dear binoculars to the Shanxi Museum. He had long wanted to help keep history alive. Then he made that wish come true. Ma hopes young people will remember the past. He also hopes they will work for a rich and strong China.
