Huangguoshu Waterfall, which sits in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, is the largest waterfall in China and one of the most famous natural wonders in Asia. With a height of 77.8 metres and a width of 101 metres, it looks like a “white curtain” pouring from the sky, producing thunderous（雷鸣般的）sounds. Every year, millions of people come to visit this natural wonder.
Sanxia Waterfall in Yichang, Hubei is a great natural landscape in China. It is one of the widest waterfalls and many people think it is the No. 1 waterfall in the world.
Hukou Waterfall, located on the Yellow River at the border（边界）of Shanxi Province and Shaanxi Province in northern China, is one of the most powerful waterfalls in the country. Known for its dramatic yellow - hued waters（壮观的黄色水流）and thunderous roar（轰鸣声）, it is the second largest waterfall in China（after Huangguoshu Waterfall）. People can hear the sound from far away.
Lushan Waterfall in Jiangxi is very beautiful. It's well known in China and the world because of the poem（诗）by Li Bai: It plunges straight down three thousand feet. As if the Silver River were falling from the Ninth Heaven.
