① Jocelyn doesn’t have many friends, but she has lots of books. Books are better than friends sometimes. Books don’t get angry at you. Books don’t feel sad when you don’t see them for some time.

There are so many animals that aren’t even in the zoo. It is hard to think about how many different animals there are. It makes her want to be a zoologist, so she can travel and see new animals.
⑤ The best thing about books is that you can share them. Jocelyn doesn’t have many friends, but all her friends like books. They can talk about them and share their ideas. Books are great, but they are better with friends to talk to about them!
