[2025 山东青岛一模] Have you ever heard of the Singing Sands Mountain? It is in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, in western China. As you walk through the quicksand or rush down a sand mountain, you can hear loud noises from your feet. So it is named the “Singing Sands Mountain”. Between the tall sand mountains, there is a spring, which looks like a crescent moon (新月). The ancient Silk Road once passed by it. It has been there for thousands of years and has never dried up.
