My aunt is good at cooking. She can cook delicious dishes, noodles and snack. Among those snacks she cooks, a kind of snack called maibing(麦饼)is my favourite. I have eaten her maibing since I was a little girl. Last time I paid a visit to her and asked her to teach me how to make maibing.
Step One: Cut pork into thin pieces and cut the dried vegetables into small pieces. Then add a little sugar. At last, add an egg, a little salt, some water to the wheat flour and mix them thoroughly(完全地)with chopsticks. Make sure you add the water slowly.
Step Two: When time is up, slightly and carefully press the flour into a circle. I think it's not easy, especially for a beginner. After you've done with it, it looks like a big ball.
Step Three: The following step is to bake maibing. There are several different cookers which can be used for baking maibing. As for home-made(自制的)maibing, you can buy a small electric baking pan.
Maibing is a very popular local snack. I want to make it by myself sometime, following the above steps. My aunt's maibing is always more delicious than the one bought from the shops because she makes maibing specially for us.
