Our new apartment is on the 12th floor. From the balcony, I can see a small park with many trees and flowers. Every morning, I wake up to the sound of birds singing there. The living room is not very big, but my parents and I often watch movies together on the sofa. My bedroom has a big window, and I put my favourite books on the shelf next to it. After school, I like sitting by the window to read or do homework.
The best part of this apartment is the neighbourhood. There's a small supermarket downstairs, so my mum can buy food easily. My new friends live nearby, and we often play basketball in the park after finishing homework.
Now I know that home is not just a house. It's the place where your family is, and where you feel happy and safe.
