Dear Mum,
I had a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival with my host family in China.
In the morning, we went to the supermarket and bought mooncakes, fruit and nuts. Then in the afternoon, we made rabbit lanterns with coloured paper and bamboo sticks（枝条）. They looked so lovely!
In the evening, we had a big family dinner. After dinner, we sat in the yard and watched the round, bright moon. We ate mooncakes and fruit while talking happily. My host parents also told me the story of Chang'e.
I love this festival so much. I miss you a lot.
