Spending time on the metro(地铁) with
slow internet is a headache for many people.
However, in Shanghai, this is no longer a
problem. On April 15, the Shanghai Shentong
Metro Group and the local government
announced that 5G now covers the entire
Shanghai metro system.
Shanghai is the first big city in China to
achieve this, with full 5G coverage(覆盖范围)
across 21 lines, 517 stations, and 896
kilometers. Tests showed that internet speed in
stations and tunnels(隧道) is usually over 600
megabits(兆) per second.
That means people can enjoy fast internet
for watching videos, playing games and
texting. For example, during one of her metro
trips, a passenger downloaded(下载) a 500MB
video on her phone in just 12 seconds.
Meanwhile, 5G isn't just about making
your metro ride more comfortable—it's also
about making it safer. With 5G, metro workers
can monitor trains and their key parts in real
time. This helps them fix small problems
before they turn into big ones.
According to China Daily, plans have
been made to improve 5G even further, not just
on metro trains. Regional connectivity(区域互
联互通) in the Yangtze River Delta will be
developed, making it easier to share smart
transportation ideas with other places. This will
help make city transport faster, smarter and
greener.

A(列数字)、C(提问)、D(讲故事)均不符合开篇方式,排除。
第4段“metro workers can monitor trains and their key parts in real time”意为地铁工作人员实时监控列车及关键部件,monitor意为“监控、观看”,选B。A(找到)、C(修理)、D(理解)不符合语境,排除。
第5段提到“plans have been made to improve 5G even further”,明确讲5G的未来规划,对应选项D。
