The Seventh World Intelligence Congress(WIC，世界智能大会)，a big artificial intelligence（AI，人工智能）event in China，took place in Tianjin from May 18 to 21. More than 500 exhibitors brought their latest technologies. Let's check out some of the cool inventions at WIC.

How can technology make parks smart? You can look up places on a screen，and the signposts beside the screen can turn around to show you the direction. Street lights with sensors will warn you that you are too close to water areas. You can even sit on solar-powered benches that can play music while charging your phone.
Planting with the press of a button
China Telecom brought a "smart" planting rack. The plants grow in small boxes on the wall. The whole system is connected to 5G，which makes it easy to control from faraway places. You can change the light and water of the plants through an app. "This is made for teenagers. Users can find all kinds of environment information in the app. So young people can better learn how plants grow," said a China Telecom staff member.
