Weiqi, our traditional game, attracts(吸引) many people. Sue is one of them. Two years ago, Sue entered middle school. The new study pattern(模式) was so different from that in primary school. She became worried and upset. Seeing this, her mum taught her Weiqi. Three months later, she joined a club to study further. If you want to play Weiqi, you just need a board with 361 crosses, some black stones and white ones, and a quiet place.
The rules of Weiqi are not difficult. Two players place stones on the board in turn. Once a stone is surrounded(围住) by the stones of the other colour, it is put away. The winner is decided by counting the field belonging to each player.
At first, Sue was impatient and always cared about catching the other player's stones. But later, she changed her plan. She played it with patience, and thought more before putting down a stone.
Now, she is no longer worried about her study because she knows haste makes waste. Studying is just like playing Weiqi. When you face a problem, you should calm yourself down first, and then think about it.
